What data does GreenOps track?
GreenOps measures your direct cloud carbon emissions, water consumption, and power usage for every workload. Data is broken down by region, instance type, service, and purchase type (on-demand, reserved, spot), so you can identify which machines and regions are driving your environmental footprint.
How can I use North savings to fund my sustainability efforts?
You can choose to allocate a percentage of the savings generated by North's optimization feature, Coverage, to fund your carbon offset efforts. This ties your cost optimization directly to environmental impact, so reducing cloud spend automatically accelerates your path to carbon neutrality.
