New year, new North.

Release Notes:

Since our last release we worked really hard to move into a more mature architecture and practice. Our deployment pipelines are quicker and clearer throughout our different repos, validations of our IaC are set up pre-deployments through release branches, improved security with shared and scoped tokens. We created a real decoupled environment both on the authentication but for back end and front end. This allows us to truly do non-invasive testing, but does make testing a bit more cumbersome because of lack of data - so we also did a mock data migration into test.

To say, we are turning the page this year by making not only our releases more reliable but our architecture more reliable. Decreasing pipeline deployment time by 50%, improving API call latency, clearer retries and controls around failed jobs and onboarding. Super pumped to welcome some new features coming very soon as well. We are well set up to build faster and quicker.

New Features and Enhancements:

• FinOps Filters: Added instance type and instance type family filters for more precise selection.
• Preset Filters: Introduced preset filters for easier customization and faster navigation in FinOps.
• Available Savings Modal: Redesigned for a more intuitive user experience.
• FinOps Score: Redesigned to improve clarity and usability.
• Reservation Alerts: Now includes account number for better tracking in slack notifications.
• Health Page: Export file name is now fixed for proper naming conventions.

Bug Fixes:

• Cookie Reset: Resolved problems with cookie reset, ensuring filters (like FinOps and selected account) persist correctly.
• Master Savings Page: Fixed display issues in the admin view of the master savings page.
• EC2 Metrics Warning: Added a warning for users when EC2 metrics are not accessible during reshaping.
• FinOps Filter Reset: Fixed the issue where the FinOps filter wasn’t resetting to 'Service' by default.
• Health Page Export: Corrected file naming issues in the Health Page export feature.

UI/UX Improvements:

• Saver Pages: Added missing icons to enhance the visual consistency across the pages and new service we provide.
• Premier Status: Removed premier status requirement and enabled all-access for users.

• Onboarding of GCP customers is ready
• Coming very soon is the complete set of default features for GCP as well.
