Introducing Google Cloud savings with North's monthly flexibility!

We’ve got a lot in the works over the next couple of months, including a major release aimed at transforming cost allocation for our customers. Our goal is to remove the limitations of tagging, enable exact resource-level anomaly detection, introduce additional GCP features, and roll out more UX improvements.

Introducing GCP Integration

We’re thrilled to announce the addition of GCP billing account integration! During onboarding, you can now choose between adding your AWS or GCP billing accounts — or both. This allows for easy switching between AWS and GCP accounts, helping you find potential savings in either environment.

Customer feedback played a significant role in shaping this feature. We've designed the integration to ensure a seamless experience between AWS and GCP, with more GCP features coming soon to create a perfect 1:1 match. Now, customers using both platforms can take advantage of savings across both ecosystems.

Additionally, during migrations from AWS to GCP, you can effortlessly move your AWS Savings Plans or GCP CUDs from one platform to another. While rates and resources may differ, this ensures you’ll never pay on-demand rates or for unused commitments.

Compute Engine & Cloud SQL Savings Without Architecture Changes

We are now able to offer customers savings on Google Cloud’s Compute Engine and Cloud SQL without any changes to your architecture. There’s no need to change your billing provider — we’re not a reseller — and you don’t even need to modify your org permissions.

All we require is to have locked-down projects join your billing account. Through CUD sharing, we ensure that all your projects under your billing account benefit from 3-year CUD commitments with monthly flexibility.

We will monitor your usage every hour, and during any downtime, we’ll move those projects away or add more usage as needed. This way, you can experience real savings through our private decentralized network of savings.

A Sneak Peek at Our New UX Design

We’re also working on a better UX design and deployed an early sneak peak with our nav bar which will allow users to see all features they have access to and easily navigate between AWS or GCP accounts.
