CloudFront and SageMaker savings are available!

Release notes include new savings for CloudFront and SageMaker, improvements to Reshaping page, and more!

• ML-Based Savings Plan Suggestions (Compute Only):
  • Users can now easily view machine learning-based savings plan suggestions for 7, 30, and 60-day periods.
• Expansion of Available Savings for two new services:
  • ‍CloudFront Savings: Offering 30% off, these savings plans are available for 1 year and cover all CloudFront spend, regardless of usage.‍
  • SageMaker Savings: Offering between 45-55% off for 3-year, no upfront savings plans. While a few SageMaker instances are not covered, our machine learning model detects which instances are eligible. This service is crucial for companies using AWS to train and deploy AI/Machine Learning models.
• We've enhanced the user interface and experience on the Reshaping page, leading to increased customer interest and engagement.
• ‍Autoscaling added in Reshaping:
  • Autoscaling rightsizing suggestions are now available. Autoscaling- as its name suggests- automatically scales number of servers up or down based on schedules or application needs. Our system now recommends the best configurations based on historical usage and instance change patterns.
• We've combined the subscription and data analysis pages for SP/RI Saver into a single, seamless shopping experience.‍
• 3-Year Savings Now Displayed:
  • ‍The "Available Savings" section now shows 3-year savings opportunities, helping customers plan for long-term cost optimization (recommended if users have insight on planned or large infrastructure changes).
