Business Development Representative
About the role
As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at North, you’ll play a critical role in fueling our growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential customers. You’ll be the first point of contact for organizations looking to gain better visibility and control over their cloud spend.

What you’ll do
- Identify and qualify leads through outbound prospecting and inbound engagement.
- Engage decision-makers via email, phone, and LinkedIn to introduce North’s solutions.
- Research and personalize outreach to optimize conversion rates.
- Collaborate with Account Executives to build a strong sales pipeline.
- Maintain accurate data in our CRM (e.g., HubSpot).
- Test and refine sales strategies to improve outreach effectiveness.

- Familiarity with cloud computing, SaaS, or FinOps.
- Experience using HubSpot or similar CRM tools.
- Understanding of cloud cost management or B2B SaaS sales.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Work location
This is a hybrid role in our New York office (in Dumbo, Brooklyn). You will work part of the time in the office and part of the time remote / work-from-home.

Compensation
$50,000–$70,000 depending on experience, equity included. Actual compensation may vary and will be based on a candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience. In addition to base salary, this role includes a competitive commission structure.
